New $30 Monopod

So I purchased a relatively cheap monopod (like a tripod, but with one leg) off Amazon. I noticed a lot of my photographs shot from a distance, with my telephoto lens, look slightly blurry on a large display. Initially, I thought I would need to purchase a higher end SLR with image stabilization. But then I remembered seeing photographers with long lenses using one of these monopods. They range in price from $18 Amazon choice to over $100.

The one I purchased was a Koolehaoda 64-inch Camera Aluminium Monopod for $30.

It features a twist lock action, wrist strap, and even a little waist pouch to put the monopod in while either carrying it or shooting your camera! When I saw that feature, I thought it was definitely the one I wanted!

There’s a spot in my neighborhood where I like to sit down and shoot any of the small critters that pass through the wooded area with lots of plant life. I thought it would be a perfect spot to try my new monopod.

As you can see, I believe the results speak for themselves. I would rate this Koolehaoda product a 5/5!
